Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and guiding employees who are assisting with inventory handling and packaging of parts.
Responsibilities:
• Creating part labels and shipping documentation
• Packaging parts in accordance with shipping instructions
• Making special pallets for shipping
• Directing deliveries and pick-ups
• Arranging trucks for loading and staging shipments
• Picking up and delivering parts as needed
• Reading and interpreting drawings, pictures, and job information
• Assembling and disassembling parts using hand and power tools
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift u to 50lbs.
Required Experience: Must have computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing/industrial environment as well as forklift experience.
