Assurance Health System is a regional system of short-term, inpatient psychiatric hospitals that provide highly specialized and compassionate psychiatric care to our senior population. Our hospitals work closely with long-term care facilities, assisted and independent living facilities, area hospitals, psychiatrists, geriatricians, internists, family practitioners and others.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Technician (MHT). The MHT will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. The MHT will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and communicating with healthcare providers.
Qualifications
• Experience in providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Understanding of medical terminology and documentation
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus
