Full job description
Sam Pierce Chevrolet has an exciting opportunity for a Dealership Staff Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' of recent dealership accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA certification is not required for this position, but exceptional communication and client service skills are a priority. The responsibilities and duties of this position include:
• Report directly to the Controller
• Perform routine dealership accounting functions
• Complete schedule review and internal control procedures and reporting on a monthly basis
• Exceptional computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Ability to develop improvement recommendations and implement solutions.
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, possess above average written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to effectively make independent decisions. Due to the nature of this position; confidentiality, honesty and ethical behavior is of the utmost importance.
