Position

Are you a financial professional that is passionate about driving excellence in accounting operations? Join our team! We are seeking a team member who is a well-organized proactive professional that demonstrates a passion for the mission of United Way and plays an integral role supporting efforts to address the community’s toughest issues. As a Finance Manager, you will ensure our organizations’ financial health and sustainability.
The key responsibilities assigned to this role include:
• Interim Financial Statement Reporting
• Audited Financial Statement Preparation
• Budget Development and Monitoring
• Grants Management
• Accounts Receivable and Payable Support
• Banking Services Support
• General Financial Reporting
And, here’s what we’re looking for:
• a professional, highly organized and goal driven individual
• a high level of personal and professional integrity
• a bachelor’s degree, 2 to 5 years’ experience in a related field
• excellent listening and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• an ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and maintain confidential information
• exceptional excel skills
• adaptive to new technologies/databases
• adept at analyzing information

• Our office is modern and new, with comfortable workspaces and collaborative areas.
• The office is connected directly to a covered parking garage, and it is located in Reading, across from the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts and the R/C Reading Movie Theatre.
