Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities: - Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene - Implement individualized care plans and support goals for each resident - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Monitor and document resident progress and behaviors - Assist with medication administration under the direction of healthcare professionals - Promote resident rights and independence - Utilize behavior management techniques when necessary Qualifications: - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a similar setting such as assisted living or nursing homes - Knowledge of social work principles and patient care practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents - Understanding of direct support practices and resident rights - Familiarity with documentation systems related to patient care Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others as a Direct Support Professional.
