Medical Billing for Aging & Denials (Part-Time)
Medical Billing with pleasant demeanor needed for our established Medical Practice in Athens, GA. Must have at least 1 year of experience. Must like working with numbers.
Duties include:
• Providing excellent customer service
• Call patients for collections
• Call insurance for collections or claims status/appeals
• Enter accurate data entry and patient data on paper and in EMR
• Verify insurance/ billing
• Document management
• …as well as other tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must have great customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Type a minimum of 40 WPM
• Comfortable using computer
• Good spelling & grammar
• Punctual and consistent
• Pass background check & drug screen
