1st Shift – Quality Control/Machine Operator . - Piedmont, SC
Starting Hourly Rate: $ 16.00
M-F 7 AM-3:30 PM
The Quality Control / Machine Operator i nspects parts, assemblies and finished products in accordance with contract specifications and/or legal requirements .
Essential Functions of the Position: • Inspect and properly load parts into containers for storage and shipment.
• Follow company inspection guidelines to conduct critical routine and non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies, and materials.
• Sample and test incoming components and raw materials; track results .
• Ensure raw materials in-process and finished products meet company standards.
• Produce inspection reports as appropriate/requested.
• Follows all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications :
• Reasoning Ability
• Solid Work History
• Dependable and reliable transportation
• Manufacturing Environment: 100% Standing, walking, and lifting.
• Physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds.
• Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day.
