Overview
Cross Lavinder Quinn & Park Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist in Roanoke, VA 24018 to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.
-Full-time
-Pay: $39-$41/hour plus monthly incentive bonus.
-Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Lunch 12-1)
-The position offers full benefits, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay, CE's, and much more.

Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
• Dental Hygienists are dedicated to improving patients' oral health through periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. Candidates should be passionate about dental work and committed to providing exceptional care.
• The Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment, care, and education in accordance with state-approved guidelines and regulations.
• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Desired Skills:
• An active Hygiene license for the state you are applying to is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
