The Quality Systems Senior Specialist -Data Analyst proactively analyzes data, to help translate analytics into non-technical insights to aid in the identification of business performance drivers and help teams to make well-informed decisions in areas which need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountability and ownership of Quality Metrics and responsible for defining leading quality indicators and actioning corrections on indicators of lagging quality.
• Support the digitalization and automating of quality systems data to drive data insights, and process innovation.
• Identification of trends and opportunities for improvements through analysis of complex datasets
• Responsible for creating and maintaining departmental Dashboards.
• Review and analyze collected data for statistical analyses and as part of day-to-day support.
• Collaborate to determine and address data and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
Education
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering Science or equivalent technical field is required.
Required
Experience and Skills
• Two or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst
• A minimum of (2) years of experience within the pharmaceutical/medical device GMP regulated industry.
• Experience using visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Spotfire Looker, Qlik, MSPowerBI) in data analysis; Solid understanding of data structures and transformations.
• Expert with Microsoft Excel or other business intelligence/analytical tools
• Experience with (Computer) System Validation in a GxP environment.
Preferred
• Analytical and critical analytical person skilled in the use of problem-solving tools/techniques
• Strong ability to prioritize assigned tasks in a high paced environment and concurrently monitor tasks / assignments with other team members that may impact timely completion.
• Experience in QA processes.
• Ability to engage with personnel at all levels within the organization, to build and maintain fruitful relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Pro-active, works independently, takes actions in the absence of specific instructions.
Other
• Available and flexible to support as assigned extended work hours to support shifts outside of regular working hours.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• This position may require 10% domestic travel.
