About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):05About the Role:The Team:Our Digital Technology Services and Technology Strategy Governance team enables a culture & mindset of Client-First & Architecture-First with a focus on delivering value through disciplined program delivery. Continuing to improve our cyber posture, service resiliency, employee productivity, innovation & overall employee engagement.Responsibilities and Impact:Building and maintaining data pipelinesCollaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements Data cleaning and quality control Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues Implement of security and compliance standards Enhancements to Snowflake data lake house Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.What We’re Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:Working towards a Bachelors degree in a technical field of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or ITFully matriculated students with anticipated graduation date in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial Basic knowledge of data modeling and SQL-- python experience is a plus Familiarity with distributed systems, data warehousing, and data integration (ETL/ELT) concepts Additional Preferred Qualifications:Databases: Knowledge of various databases such as SQL, NoSQL, and others. ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Snowpipe or custom ETL scripts. Cloud Services: Experience with AWS and Snowflake cloud services Programming Languages: SQL, Java, Python ADO Agile development framework Right to Work Requirements:This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.What’s In It For You?Our Purpose:Progress is not a self-starter.
