Send an email to Accessibility (accommodation requests only; other inquiries won't receive a response).Regular or Temporary:TemporaryLanguage Fluency:  English (Required)Work Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:Responsible for ensuring the branch operates in a smooth, efficient and orderly manner by providing assistance to Financial Advisors, branch management and other branch operations staff by distributing mail, photocopying, filing, faxing, ordering supplies, posting or proofing data, preparing data or word documents and answering the telephone. May also assist directly with client needs such as handling general client requests, needs related to account transactions, receiving checks and securities from clients and processing them in a timely and accurate manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.  1. Handle all branch correspondence including mail, faxes, and wires and prepare general correspondence, reports, and forms.2. Professionally greet clients via telephone and those entering the branch and provide timely and effective assistance or direct them to proper branch personnel. 3. Set up and maintain necessary files and records as determined by branch needs.5. Provide information, directions, and answers to inquiries as needed.6. Prepare checks for clients when account disbursements are requested or necessary and accept checks and securities from customers in compliance with firm and industry standards and ensure proper posting.7. Observe and streamline processing of paperwork for customer transactions for efficiency and for meeting applicable guidelines.8. Serve as the branch technology coordinator, acting as the initial point of contact for all technology-related issues arising in the branch. 9. Serve as branch facilities coordinator, submitting all requests for repairs and maintenance as needed working in conjunction with the Complex Director. 10. Assist Complex Director with expense reports and other special projects.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. High school diploma or equivalent education and related training.2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.3. Ability to use office equipment as required (copier, fax, etc.)4. Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience in a branch operations/support role.2. Associates or Bachelor's degree.3.
