Inspecting parts for conformance to specifications, visually or using gauges or templates, and may adjust machine to correct errors Follow established production/process specifications or instructions. Change dies and material coils as necessary. Perform manual packaging operations to fill, mark, label, band, tie pack, and/or wrap containers with products and materials. Tally, weigh, stack, and arrange products and packed containers. Preferred Skills / Experience: Operator should have experience in tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operation of the press. Knowledge of blanking die layouts and clearances Ability to compute numbers, widths, and angles of die components using micrometers, scales, and gauges Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to communicate with supervisors and / or peers both in both written and verbal formats. Most be able to stand and / or sit for long periods of time. Knowledge of geometric tolerancing. Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent. Successful applicants will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
