The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor has a Full-time opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse position to provide an exceptional level of care for a small group of Sisters at St. Clare Convent located at 60 Compton Road. The Convent is the private home of the Sisters (not a care facility) and provides an excellent work environment. The hours are: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. , e/o weekend and additional shifts as available Responsibilities and Duties Provides appropriate care based on each individual's needs and conditions Assists in assessing individual's needs; communicates changes in individual's conditions Passes meds and provides any needed treatments Provides a safe and supportive environment Maintains a positive demeanor, treating each individual with kindness, dignity and respect Assists with light housekeeping and laundry Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2+ years relevant experience Ability to independently provide appropriate care and make decisions as circumstances warrant Current LPN license Strong work ethic, self-starter Interested individuals may apply via Indeed.
