Position Overview: SitePro Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team. The General Laborer will be responsible for performing a range of manual labor tasks to assist in the completion of construction projects. This includes preparing construction sites, assisting with various labor tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, reliable, and able to work in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Follow project instructions from the construction superintendent or supervisor. Consult with construction plans as needed. Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site. Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment. Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) such as proper hardhat, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in fueling all on-site equipment and prepare for the next day of work. Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, vibratory rollers, saws, grinders etc. Help on construction sites by hand digging/potholing utilities, installing silt fences, Seeding and stapling down straw matting, and mobilizing equipment and materials to the site. Clean and clear debris and waste materials, and assist in maintaining a clean jobsite. Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly. Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Able to work independently or as an active member of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management. English fluency is a plus. Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment. Commitment to safety protocols and ability to follow instructions.
