The Health Information Technician Analyzer/Reception position examines medical records for completeness after patient discharge and assigns deficiencies in the Chart Deficiency System. EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in Health Information Management preferred REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained. Knowledge of medical terminology. Position requires ability to interact with various individuals including physicians. Good communication skills, attention to detail, data entry skills, knowledge of PC and printer operations, telephone etiquette, use of copy machine and fax machine.
