We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual for the position of State Tested Nursing Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene habits, maintaining the physical and mental well-being of residents. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with residents, perform daily living activities, and monitor residents for changes in health. Status : 2nd shift openings -8 Hour shift - Full and Part time availability Responsibilities : Knowledge of the actions to take in an emergency or other unforeseen situations. Knowledge of nursing home regulations. Follow authority's directions in emergencies. Respond quickly to residents' needs. Follow directions from the lead nurse. React calmly during stressful or unexpected situations. Recognize residents' moods and behaviors and respond appropriately. Requirements : Must be a state-tested Nurse Assistant on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry or eligible to take the state exam. Preferred : High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of dementia helpful, especially if working in Memory Support unit. Previous long term care experience is desirable.
Salary: $29.5K - $37.4K a year
