Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Manager is the point person for all billing related issues in the billing department. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the entire Revenue Cycle team. Responsible for assisting in developing workflows and providing guidance to team to promote success. Accountable for assisting internal and external staff with account specific inquiries. Duties Include: Manage RCM- TUG, RT and Path-Charge Entry, Coding, Insurance Follow up, Collections and Payment Posting Supervise billing department staff of approximately 20 employees Update Charge Master when carriers pay full charges Answer questions from Practice managers Close of Day and Month-TUG Code all complex cases Monitor incoming cash Maintain ERA and EFT set up Monitor/approve employee work hours, PTO, etc. for biweekly payroll Answer insurance help line to assist in patient billing calls Other duties as assigned No nights, weekends or holidays 3 weeks PTO Medical/dental/vision insurance Short-term & long-term disability insurance Life and accident insurance 401k Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred Experience with AllScripts preferred
