Hiring Range = $20.50 - 25.00\hour FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Community Engagement Coordinator General Description This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing, social media, fundraising, and overall public image management for the organization. This position also assists with patient health care initiatives and represents the organization at public events and meetings. As the Community Engagement Coordinator, duties will include working with healthcare providers, community partners, local agencies, consultants, donors, and state organizations. Community Engagement Coordinator Essential Duties Design, develop, and promote digital and print media content to support and expand the organization’s mission and branding. Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with external contacts including individual donors, foundations, businesses and corporations, partners, and other community groups as appropriate to expand the organization’s visibility in the community. Collaborate with and provide education and presentations to community organizations, agencies, businesses, faith based organizations, and other groups in order to build awareness of the organization. Provide consistent representation of the organization at business, community, and governmental meetings and events. Manage, monitor, and curate organic posts for social media platforms, including both short and long-term planning of such efforts. Collaborate seamlessly with leadership team members to actively participate in the organization's fundraising initiatives, adeptly communicating the organization's mission, vision, and programs to prospective donors. Act as the primary internal contact for capital campaign activities which includes, but is not limited to the following: Schedule and make arrangements for meetings with prospective and current donors (e-mails, phone calls, etc.); Manage engagement and cultivation responsibilities including coordinating and attending site visits, tours, meetings, or events; Follow-up from major donor meetings including thank you notes, sending follow-up materials, and completing any promised follow-up actions; Assist in the development and execution of a communications plan for the campaign Oversee fundraising database on progress of fundraising objectives for executive leadership Develop and maintain an accurate campaign progress report; Acts as primary contact to plan and execute fundraising events: Participate in all necessary fundraising and donor meetings, presentations, and funding opportunities Maintain confidentiality of all campaign and Foundation information, records and files. Work collaboratively with the Quality and Outreach departments on applicable patient campaigns to increase awareness of clinic brand and service offerings; Produce patient education videos and patient education materials. Provide photography, videography and written coverage of special events; manages photo library and coordinates headshot sessions as requested. Create and deliver press releases with approval from Executive Staff. Research, monitor, and report social media needs, goals and strategies. Travel required to surrounding areas to promote this work and for training and fundraising; including evening and weekend work. Perform other duties as assigned. Community Engagement Coordinator Skills Required Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, vendors, and the public. Expert knowledge of social media platforms and analytic tools such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Analytics and similar tools. Knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator, Desktop Publishing software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows, databases, graphs and the ability to write reports and correspondence by using proficient grammar, spelling and punctuation. High level of creativity. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work with accuracy. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and prioritize workload. Ability to work independently and use good judgment and have initiative to seek out additional duties. Community Engagement Coordinator Education and Experience High School Diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a business-related degree is required; 2 years of experience in marketing, fund raising, or business office environment; Any combination of education and work experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying; Prior experience in healthcare environment is preferred, but not required.
