Summary: Roanoke Property Management Firm seeks a Property Accountant with experience in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger accounting, and payroll. The Property Accountant will perform daily bookkeeping and accounting functions for various properties and customers, assisting with monthly closing activity, running semi monthly payroll, and general office administrative tasks. Responsibilities: · Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensure accurate coding · Payroll Management including timely tax filings and reports, assist with benefits management · Manage electronic client filing system and Company filing system · Monitor and order office supplies · Assist with preparing accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports · Month end close adjusting journal entries · 1099 preparation · Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times · Assists in external auditing requests · Other responsibilities and duties as assigned Qualifications · Two years of bookkeeping experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities · Strong work ethic and integrity · Detail oriented with excellent analytical abilities · Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite · Payroll, AP, and AR experience required · Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred · Ability to work with limited supervision · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Experience working in a small business office This is a Full-Time Salary Exempt position and includes Health, Dental, Vision, Holidays, Paid Time Off, and 401K.
