VA-based IT services firm seeks a hard-working Tech Savvy professional to join our fun, dynamic staff who will bring our company to the front of the line. Our team of network engineers, repair techs, and office staff have been servicing businesses, medical practices, and the general public for over 20 years. In this role, you will be responsible for driving IT sales, managing accounts, and estimate generation. You will work closely with existing & potential clients to understand their technology needs, offer tailored solutions, and build strong relationships. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets, expand our customer base, and ensure client satisfaction. Unlike many sales positions, this is a real F/T opportunity with benefits and a base pay above living wage, though some commissioned opportunities are available as well. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: · Identify and prospect potential clients who need recurring technology services (land new client relationships!). · Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their ongoing technology needs and providing exceptional account management (retention!). · Conduct thorough research on potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape to develop a deep understanding of the market. · Estimate generation for everything from day projects to managed services to technology overhauls · Nurture leads and submit RFP’s to relevant municipalities and corporations · Collaborate with other staff to develop effective sales strategies, presentations, and proposals. · Present and demonstrate IT products, services, and solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their benefits and value proposition. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. · Stay up to date with emerging IT trends, industry developments, and competitive offerings. · Network in the community on our behalf Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in a business or Information-related field is preferred. Equivalent sales and/or technical background may be considered a valid substitute. · Proven track record in IT sales or account management, with a strong understanding of technology products, services, and solutions. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and effectively deliver presentations. · Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets. · Self-motivated, autonomous when needed, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bold yet friendly, willing to cold call + email in the low times utilizing proven success strategies. · Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. · Proficient in using CRM software concepts, for purposes of report generation & forecasting · Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software solutions, or related technologies is highly desirable. · A clean, professional appearance · Ability to assimilate into an evolving industry, with a continuous learning mindset. This is a new position, created out of necessity and we are a relatively small firm so there will be some overlap in roles. Compensation will depend on sales & IT experience-again, industry experience is great but we’re also willing to train the young and hungry!
