What you need:
• Five to seven years of related experience with logistics, ordering and warehouse duties.
• Excellent record keeping skills and knowledge of how a warehouse and job sites operate.
• Ability to analyze pricing, discounts, and invoices to ensure accurate pricing and billing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Professional and friendly demeanor for internal and external transactions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Eagerness for professional development and growth.
• Ability to pass various background checks.
• Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
• Desirable (but not required!):
• Experience in the sprinkler and fitting parts industry.
What you will do:
• Responsible for coordination of orders, material management, schedules, warehouse, deliveries, and supervision of staff for the assigned positions.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
• Maintain a Vendor List with preferred vendors to ensure VSC is receiving purchases below standard cost.
• Coordinate and supervise warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and receiving clerks.
