Brandon Animal Hospital is looking for a Part Time Veterinary Assistant.
• Individuals must be motivated, independent, reliable, honest, trustworthy and learn quickly and have reliable transportation.
• Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include cleaning, caring for, monitoring and maintaining hospitalized and boarding patients, animal handling, assisting veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians, preparing laboratory tests, dispensing medication, laundry, restocking, etc.
• Schedule MUST be flexible - this position will include shifts on weekdays, weekends, including Sunday, and holidays. Shifts may extend beyond or be outside of regular office hours.
• Position will be 10-30 hours weekly, depending on availability.
Experience Required.
Salary: $12.00-15.00/hour - Negotiable with Experience
Job Type: Part-time
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM & Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
(Please be aware that positions will include shifts outside of these regular office hours including weekends and holidays)
