Equipment Technician, Varied Shift, Respiratory Therapy Department
UC Health is hiring a Part Time Equipment Technician for the respiratory therapy department for a varied shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The Respiratory Therapy Equipment Technician is responsible for processing and cleaning all Respiratory equipment. This includes disassembling, sterilizing, or pasteurizing and re-assembling various types of equipment. The Technician performs performance tests on re-assembled equipment, monitors quality control on pasteurized equipment and sterilizing solutions, is responsible for stocking and receiving shipments, performs periodic stock inventories, orders supplies as needed, and assists EKG department by changing EKG disks daily and editing floor directories.

Picks up equipment.
Sterilize and disinfects equipment.
Reassembles various types of equipment.
Performs equipment performance tests on equipment.
Receive shipments.
Unload and verify correct quantity.
Maintain stock rooms/rotate stock.
Perform periodic inventory of disposable and permanent supplies.
Maintain records.
Pick up supplies.
Changing disks
Identifying problems and issues and communicating to appropriate individual.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Current enrollment in a Respiratory Therapist program required.
1-2 years' experience preferred.
