Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited educational program for Registered Nurses
• Must possess a current license to practice in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience preferred, not required.
• BLS and ACLS certification will be provided upon hire.
• CALS or TNCC required within one year of hire.
• Background study and pre-employment drug testing also required.
Responsibilities:
• RN is accountable for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of nursing care.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice, and have the ability to plan, evaluate, and organize.
• Must have the ability to interact with a variety of personalities, make decisions and exercise sound judgment under times of stress and urgency.
• Must possess the ability to delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed caregivers and promote teamwork by sharing knowledge and skills with others.
Location: Madelia, MN
Schedule: Casual
Hours/Pay Period: Must work a minimum of 16 hours per month and one Holiday per calendar year to maintain casual status
Schedule Details: Variable schedule including days/evenings/nights and either 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts. Available schedule options will be discussed during the interview.
Benefit for shift pickup: Shift pickup bonuses and overtime available for any 8 or 12 hour pickups over 16 hours per month.

Madelia Health is an independent, nonprofit facility staffed by a team of medical professionals that are committed to providing health care of the highest standards to patients in the Madelia, Lake Crystal, Truman and surrounding areas. As a 25-bed acute care hospital, we offer all of the primary health services: Laboratory, Radiology, X-ray, CT, 3D Mammograms, Physical Therapy, Home Care, Emergency Room/Urgent Care, Retail Pharmacy, Ambulance Services and Surgical Care. Our family medical clinics also provides care for patients in all the seasons of their life.
