``` Duties: - Provide direct care and support to residents in an assisted living or nursing home setting - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately - Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed - Promote resident rights and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all residents - Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support Experience: - Previous experience in senior care or dementia care is highly preferred - Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently - Familiarity with medication administration protocols and ability to accurately document medication administration - Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them in daily interactions - Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility as needed Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly individuals - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
