Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to their destinations. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers or goods
- Shuttle driving for designated routes or locations
- Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle
- Assist with loading and unloading of passengers or cargo
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers or clients
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers
Experience:
- Previous experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers, coworkers, and supervisors
