Full job description
You are going to meet wonderful people that come to the Bistro to sit and relax to have a great meal with the many choices of scratch made foods all prepared by hand. We have a full bakery with birthday cakes and people come far and wide to celebrate their day with their families to have a special meal and cake made especially for them. This job requires morning or afternoon set-up of the dining room including the outdoor patio tables during the summer season. The end of the shift clean up, closing all tables, cleaning server stations and floors. The daily shifts are lunches 10:00am-3:00pm and 11:30am-2:00pm evening shifts 3:00pm-9:00/9:30pm or 5:00pm-9:00/9:30pm. The server working shifts will be mixed depending on your availability. The bistro and bakery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday open 11:00pm-8:30pm Friday and Saturday's open 11:00-9:00pm. This job includes great tips and a chance to use your selling skills of all of the many wonderful food and bakery products we offer. The clientele that frequents the restaurant on a daily basis love our great, friendly, kind service and are very generous with tipping our hard working servers. This is a chance to shine with your wonderful personality to meet many people from the Roanoke Valley and beyond. We have many travelers that make a special trip to come and dine to enjoy the greatness of what we offer. You can choose to have a daily meal at half price and the food is wonderful. We have a full bar cocktail menu and you will be preparing the cocktails and drinks you serve. This job requires you to be 21.
