Responsibilities & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Compound and dispense medication/pharmaceuticals upon receipt and verification of computerized/written/verbal physician orders
• Perform all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs
• Supervises support personnel in all work areas and completes clinical and distributive activities in addition to other duties as assigned
• Oversee pharmacy inventory, record keeping, and accounting
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures
Job Qualifications:
• Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy with either a B.S. in Pharmacy or a PharmD
• Active State of Ohio pharmacist license
• Two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
