Company/Location Overview
The Glenmore Distillery has been a fixture in the Owensboro Community since the late 1800s. During Prohibition, The Glenmore Distillery was fortunate enough to be one of four distilleries in the country allowed to operate on a limited scale for medicinal necessity.
In March of 2009 the Sazerac Company purchased the distillery and reprised the name The Glenmore Distillery . The distillery boasts one of the largest and most modern bottling facilities in the country and continues to be a sizable employer in the city of Owensboro, KY.

Job Description/Responsibilities
Sazerac's Planning Internship offers students a thorough opportunity to work in the distilled spirits industry. This role supports all planning initiatives.
Our Interns work closely with our planning team to gain a thorough understanding of our departments and the career opportunities within each, all while working hands on contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity and growth.
Expectations of Technical Internship:
• Work with a mentor to develop project plans and set goals.
• Complete planning improvement projects in assigned areas.
• Develop and write standards for assigned processes.
• Position located in Owensboro, KY
• Sazerac will not sponsor applicants for work visas for these positions
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's level degree
• Ability and willingness to commit to the entirety of Sazerac's internship program
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
