Position: National Sales Manager Reports to: CEO
Department: 498/Sales and Customer Service Location: Mankato, MN/hybrid
Position Type: Full Time Direct Reports: 4 FLSA Status: Exempt Travel: 50%+ and some weekends
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Position Purpose: The National Sales Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing & growing effective sales strategies for Condux International while generating value for our shareholders.
Position Summary: The National Sales Manager will leverage sales experience, leadership skills & technical expertise to increase sales nationwide. In conjunction with the appropriate departments, the NSM will contribute to the refinement of the Condux product offering, educating external customers on usage of product, assisting with execution of trade shows, and staying up to date on sales trends & competitors. In addition, other projects and responsibilities (temporary or permanent) may be assigned as needed. The NSM will build & grow a sales team, develop our Technical Sales Reps, work closely with our inside sales team and have experience working within manufacturing organizations.
Essential Duties:
• Determining annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marking strategies; and analyzing trends & results
• Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with engineers and customers
• Collaborating with sales personnel to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
• Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries
• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas & goals for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
• Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management and product management
• Setting & achieving sales goals and quotas for both direct sales personnel as well as our independent manufacturers representatives
• Attending conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops to improve your skills and knowledge
• Conducting market and competitor research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products
• Participating in tradeshows to promote and sell Condux products
• Writing reports and liaising with the product management team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions
• Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories
• Updating orders and sales and negotiating the best company contract terms
• Listening to customers’ needs and advising them on the best products to buy; consultative selling

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or similar
• Experience in sales and the technology field
• Strong customer service, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, research and multitasking abilities
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SalesForce.com
• Able to understand and speak English fluently (required)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• A valid driver’s license
• Able to be approved to secure DOT approval to drive company vehicles.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, twist, stoop, crawl, climb and bend
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer
• Ability to talk on a phone for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
