As needed.The Health Information Technician ensures the medical records is accessible and maintained for patient care and hospital operations. The HIM Technician is responsible for medical record retrieval, review, assembly, verification and coordination. The HIM Technician supports the HIM department through a variety of complex document imaging functions including prepping and scanning of records and quality control checks.
