In this role, you will provide assistance to our press operators that are running 41' press equipment.Your Responsibilities:Set up and operate feeder end of pressRetrieve stock for jobs to be printedHave knowledge of paper weights, finishes, grain, direction, etc.Obtain stock and cut it to specifications when necessaryKeep press properly supplied of ink, chemicals, blankets, etc.Notify lead operator of low inventory of house inks or paperEnsure that equipment is cleaned and maintained in proper working condition, and notify lead operator of any concernsKeep work area and equipment cleanAble to distinguish color variances while jobs are running on pressPerform other related duties as requestedYour Shift:Day Shift - Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 6:00am - 6:00pmWork 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!Overtime available on Sunday during busy seasonsRequirements within this position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials. Frequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:High school diploma or equivalentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
