Vistar Eye Center is looking for dynamic individuals to grow with the company!
Responsibilities include monitoring clearing house transmissions, correcting and refilling all returned/rejected claims, correcting, refilling, monitoring HIPAA edits, working aged insurance reports for all payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans, working all denials, correcting errors, sending records with appeals, and an overall understanding of all procedures. May require travel between offices as needed.

In this position you must enjoy working with people while maintaining proficiency in medical terminology, operating office equipment as necessary, ability to analyze reports, making informed decisions, communicating effectively and politely with physicians, coworkers, and patients, ability to speak clearly and concisely, and establish and maintain effective working relationships in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications:
• Excellent computer proficiency
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
Experience:
• Minimum one-year medical office, working with insurance preferred
