Job Description
Client Services Representative
Our fast-paced veterinary clinic is looking for a part-time Client Services Rep. Shift is Wednesday - Friday, plus two Saturday mornings per month. Weekday hours vary between 7:30am - 6:00pm. If you have exceptional multi-tasking abilities and enjoy helping clients, we want to talk to you! We offer a great team environment, discounts on pet care, and a retirement savings plan with a company match.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Job Details (include but are not limited to):
• Answer incoming phone calls using proper telephone etiquette, taking care of routine calls such as scheduling/changing appointments, and directing calls to other team members as needed.
• Maintain a professional, cheerful, and helpful attitude when interacting with clients.
• Check all clients in/out before and after their appointments, ensuring all information is correct and has been confirmed.
• Perform daily follow-up communication with clients which may include health, procedure, product, or reminder follow-ups.
• Stay actively engaged on the office email accounts, responding to clients promptly and courteously.
• Prepare for next day’s appointments and confirm new client appointments.
• Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assists clients with billing questions and receives payments.
Qualifications
• Personality and demeanor to work with the public and assist distraught clients
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner, verbally and in written form
• Basic office/administrative skills such as typing, processing paperwork, and navigating computer systems
• Demonstrated track record of timely follow through of tasks
• Able to work independently and in a team setting
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
