Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs manual tasks such as assisting mechanic in carrying machine parts and tools and materials to and from the job, lifts and holds parts, cleans up work areas, etc.
• Helps machinist and other tradespersons with dismantling, overhauling, and assembling of equipment and machinery.
• Cleans and washes equipment and machinery. Scrapes paint, grease, and accumulated material from equipment.
• Performs routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
• May be assigned cleaning and sweep-up duties in maintenance shop.
• Assists mechanic in truck garage on heavy jobs.
• HYD and blower installs on large trucks
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED.
• RESUME AND INTERVIEW ARE REQUIRED.
• Satisfactory company work records, including attendance.
• Manual dexterity skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Frequently works with gloves and eye protection.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation to work.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
