How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
Provides day to day leadership for successful implementation of goals and objectives for the department. Responsibilities include input on planning of budget and managing expenses. Communicates, organizes, prioritizes, leads, facilitates, coaches and problem solves with reporting staff to ensure that goals and objectives are met. Works with other service line leaders to carry out new health care services and performance improvement initiatives.
• Works closely with staff, peers and service line management in the implementation of strategies critical to the success of the service line and organization.
• Communicates directly with physicians, clinical leaders, senior managers, other departmental personnel.
• Provides supervision and direction to department staff.
• Must be versatile and flexible in leadership/management skills and work schedule.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable licensure and accrediting standards.
What We Require:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive related experience. Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: CRCST required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, team leadership, priority setting and work competency skills. Promotes a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence.
