As a territory sales representative, you'll travel to independent agencies within your territory to assist with managing, upselling, and obtaining referrals. You’ll meet in-person to influence agencies to market Progressive services and products, while also providing marketing strategies. Additionally, you’ll prospect for new agencies in the territory. You’ll be provided a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company card.
Territory: Athens, Augusta, and surrounding communities. Candidates must be able to travel to and meet with all agencies within this geographic area. 30% of overnight travel is required.
Preferred home office location : Athens, Augusta, and surrounding communities.
Must-have qualifications
• High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 6 years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 3 years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
• Compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policy
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred skills
• Demonstrated outside business-to-business sales experience
• Ability to work independently – prior experience in a field-based role
• Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with a customer relationship management tool (i.e., Salesforce)
Compensation
• $84,000 - $101,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
