Tri-State Pump & Control Inc. (TSP) is a 30 year old golf industry leader in manufacturing, selling, and supporting golf course, municipality, and sports turf irrigation pumping systems and new and used grounds care equipment.
As part of the company’s continued expansion, TSP is searching for an Experienced Sales Professional to sell its products in our Mid-Atlantic Region; Virginia, Central, & Eastern North Carolina.
If you are a self-motivated, independent worker who enjoys working outdoors in a sports environment solving customers issues with creative business solutions, this is an excellent opportunity.
Occasional overnight travel will be required. The successful candidate will be a mature, results driven professional with the confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
Position: Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Reports to - Corporate Sales Manager
Salary Range including a Draw on Commission - $50,000 - $70,000
Target income of $125,000 with Bonus / “No Cap” Commission plan
Benefits – Affordable Health, Dental, and Vision plans, 401K with corporate match, Industry Leading PTO program, and Vehicle program
Responsibilities Include:
• Sales – Selling a variety of Irrigation Pump Products, Grounds Care Equipment, and Services through Finance to the Golf Course, Municipal, and Sports Turf markets.
• Planning – Developing and Maintaining a Sales Development and Communication Plan.
• Marketing – Assist in Developing and Maintaining Territory Marketing Plan
• Travel including for training and attending Local and Regional Association Meetings.
Required Experience / Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years Proven Successful Sales Experience in Business to Business Commercial Sales
• Minimum 3-5 years’ Experience in “Outside Sales” dealing directly with customers
• Superior Communication Skills
• Proven Ability to work Independently
• Experience with a CRM system
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Sales of Products or Services within the Golf Course, Municipal, and Sports Turf markets.
• Sales of Products or Services that require or include Financing
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
