Riverside Dental is a leading dental practice committed to providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Our team is dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join us as a Receptionist.
As a Receptionist at our dental practice, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, providing information and scheduling appointments as necessary.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries.
• Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits, optimizing the schedule for maximum efficiency.
• Process payments and manage financial transactions using practice management software.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Stay updated on office policies, procedures, and dental terminology.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathy and compassion for patients' needs and concerns.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus, but not required.
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. This position will have set weekly hours but we are open to candidates looking for either full time or part time employment.
