Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients - a food manufacturing company - is currently looking for an IT Director. This position is an immediate hire and pays up to $125K per year.
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for setting strategic direction, planning, and overseeing all facets of the organization's internal IT infrastructure: managing IT operations, driving technology initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Summary Responsibilities:
• Develop and articulate the organization's IT strategy
• Nurture collaboration, innovation, and continual improvement through mentoring IT Personnel.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards and governance frameworks.
• Oversee the planning, evaluation, and execution of technological solutions/improvements to meet changing business needs.
• Governing internal IT infrastructure: networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure.
• Protect IT infrastructure by administering security protocols and policies, managing corrective measures in case of security incidents.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Develop and oversee the IT department budget, aligning spending with business objectives and within budgetary constraints.
• Define and maintain service levels for IT support and implement service management methodology.
• Collaborate with and guide executive leadership, department heads, and internal departments to comprehend and bolster their technology requirements and priorities.
• All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years' experience in IT leadership roles.
• Profound Expertise across multiple IT domains, including infrastructure, security, networking, and enterprise systems.
• Previous IT management experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, or TOGAF are advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Willingness to travel within TX, VA, and OH.
