Check us out on YouTube DescriptionPosition Objective:The Product Manager is responsible for the complete product life cycle, including creating proposals on what products to develop or obsolete, what markets and playing fields to participate in and what areas to exit. They are responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with internal and external engineering, sales, finance, manufacturing, marketing and product support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. A key aspect of the role will be the creating organizational awareness of product management goals and expectations through the development, implementation and management of processes, tools and training to deliver profitable growth.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Translate business strategy into product strategyCreate and maintain product roadmap to align EPGA product offering with Customer needs and identify product development opportunitiesOwn the New Product Development process from Ideation through product launchDrive action throughout the organization to get products to marketSupport the identification and implementation of cost reduction projectsManage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market Execute product marketing strategies utilizing insights on key differentiators and messages Translate high-level customer/market requirements into an actionable strategyManage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issuesTravel up to 25% may be required to support product benchmarking, voice of customer and strategic alignment conversationsExperience/Skills:5+ Years’ Experience RequiredEducation:Bachelor’s degree in related field requiredAdditional Job DetailsEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
