Job Specifics:
• 6 OR's: 2 dedicated to GI, 4 regular OR's
• Supervision 3:1 or 4:1
• Good variety of cases:
• GI
• General
• Ortho
• Podiatry
• ENT
• Ophthalmology
• Urology
• Plastics
• Gyn
• Pain (nerve stimulator implants, not ESI injections)
• Healthy peds only. (Ear tubes, tonsils, strabismus, fractures, circumcision)
• No Neonates.
• Blocks done by docs.
• Typical Day:
• 7:30 OR in room time
• 7:30-3:30 OR blocks
• Rotating Peel list for CRNA leaving order each day.
• No nights, no weekends, no call, no holidays.
Benefits:
• $196,000 salary
• $10,000 yearly discretionary money for CME, dues, insurances
• 401K with 4% profit sharing
• 40 days of PTO
• Holidays include; New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and usually the Friday after Thanksgiving) and Christmas Day.
• Malpractice covered by group.
