FedEx Ground is now hiring full-time FedEx Delivery Route Drivers in the Roanoke, VA area. Drivers will be operating out of the Roanoke terminal and will be making deliveries to residences and businesses in Lynchburg. Our drivers will be operating box trucks or step vans provided by the employer.
Terminal Address: 1935 Blue Hills Dr NE, Roanoke, VA 24012
*Drivers will report to the terminal in Roanoke and will drive 50 miles to their route in Lynchburg, VA.
We are now accepting applications for full-time and part-time drivers. No CDL required!!! The vehicle will be provided by the employer!!
Work Hours-The terminal is open Monday through Sunday from 7:30am to completion. (Completion is usually around 5 or 5:30 but can go later). FedEx Ground needs flexible people with flexible hours!

Delivery Driver Job Information:
• We operate 7 days per week. Full-time – 5 days scheduled per week
• This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
• 1 year of verifiable work driving experience in the last 3 years. MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA DELIVERY, AMAZON DELIVERY, LANDSCAPE DRIVER IS ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Cost is covered by the company).
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• Physically able to carry packages that weigh 100 lbs or more. 150 lbs with a cart.
• Able to deliver between 120-160 stops a day.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Roanoke.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
• Arrive at the Roanoke FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
• Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
• Delivering packages to the destination
• Scanning and Logging Packages
