Company Overview:
Join our thriving oral surgery practice where we're committed to providing exceptional care and improving the lives of our patients. We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and play a vital role in delivering top-notch care and support to our patients throughout their oral surgery experience.
Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our oral surgery office, you'll work closely with our team of oral surgeons, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care. From pre-operative assessments to post-operative recovery, you'll be instrumental in providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs monitoring, prior to oral surgery procedures.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions, including medication management and wound care.
- Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, providing sterile instruments, equipment, and patient support as needed.
- Monitor patients' post-operative recovery, assessing vital signs, managing pain, and addressing any complications or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout their oral surgery experience.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [State].
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
