PLAID HAT MANAGEMENT IS A FULL-SERVICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA, PROVIDING LANDLORDS AND DEVELOPERS WITH FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT, CONTRACTED SERVICES, AND SCHEDULED PROPERTY MAINTENANCE.
The Property Manager is a new position with Plaid Hat Management (2024) as an at-will position. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer. Management expects this position to evolve and grow with the company.
Basic duties and functions of the role are as follows:
- Oversight of Multiple Commercial and Mixed-Use Properties (35 Properties with more than 350 units and growing), serving as first point of contact.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Executing annual management budgets + annual maintenance plans with COO and Asset Manager
- Direct Supervisor of Maintenance Technician team and coordination of tenant relations
- Work Alongside Multifamily Leasing Manager to streamline residential tenant communications and maintenance services.
- Responsible for On-Call and Maintenance Scheduling, including coordinating and communicating contracted services such as Cleaning, Lawn Care/Snow Removal Services.
- Utilize property management software to track leasing activity, maintenance requests, and financial transactions
- Other Duties as Assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minnesota Real Estate License or willingness to obtain
- Contractor Licenses as needed (i.e Boiler, Spray, etc.) paid for by Employer
- Minimum 3 Years, 5+ Years preferred, Experience in Property Management
- Ability to perform light manual labor as needed
-Knowledge of facilities management best practices
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues
*Compensation negotiable based on experience*
