The position oversees the intake processes and retention of new and returning students. This position will require the ability to procure and utilize data reports to ensure effective guidance and student program completion. Position is grant funded and continuation is contingent upon future funding. Job Duties: Support adult education student recruitment and retention through varied and creative means of outreach and communication, including social media. Provide guidance for students throughout the GED process to ensure students reach their goals in a timely manner. Assist with data entry and maintenance as it pertains to KYAE mandated student records. Coordinate schedules, trains, and supervises front desk staff (work-study students). Provides related training and assistance to volunteers. Participate in required professional development and serves on assigned committees as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of relevant work experience or equivalent required. OR Associate's degree and three (3) years of relevant work experience or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications: Additional Skills Requested: Work experience with data entry and analysis. Ability to utilize basic Microsoft software and social media applications.
