Mechanical and Technical Duties Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel emission, brake, steering, hydraulics. Small engine repairs. Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts. Test major components, such as engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, to determine repair/replacement methods. Other Duties Ensure equipment repairs are completed in a high-quality and timely manner. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as City policies and procedures.
