Hotel: The Preserve at Verdae Greens Grill Attendant Part time Atrium SPIRIT – where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellence Profile: Reports To: Director, Golf Equipment: Uniform Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Grill Attendant is to ensure that guests have an excellent experience as it relates to their meals, beverages and interactions. Work Performed: The Grill Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items; Take food and beverage orders, Relay orders to kitchen, and serve orders to guests in a timely manner; Monitor tables ensuring all patrons are served in accordance with established protocols; Clear and clean tables as needed; Compute bill and accepts payment, including tracking sales receipts; Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing; Maintain wait station by keeping area tidy and stocks glasses, silverware and other related supplies; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Required Prior Experience: Prior customer service experience Preferred Prior Experience: Prior cash handling experience Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Licenses/ Certification: Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.
