Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) of Lexington, VA is looking to hire a passionate Behavioral Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPC or PsyD) to work with the children and youth in our new School-Based Health Center. This full-time position earns a minimum annual salary of $68,000 commensurate with experience and is eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of $5,000. You will be responsible for assisting with communication between the home and facility, keeping families informed of their child's progress, creating a fun and engaging environment, recognizing behavioral problems, and helping children recover. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling or social work with a current LCSW, LMFT, LPC license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or a PhD/PsyD Licensed in Clinical Psychology in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Cannot be sanctioned under Medicaid or Medicare. Must meet RAHC privileging requirements as required by Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands on practicum required. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.
