As a remote School Psychologist, you'll be part of a dynamic school dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborating with onsite educators and families, and promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced School Psychologist to service a grade school caseload remotely. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing individualized interventions and collaborating with educators to create supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and individualized needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and counseling services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans and accommodations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and other support services.
• Provide consultation and professional development to educators and staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• 2yrs of experience in schools (minimum)
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling service.
• Strong knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices related to special education and student support services.
• NASP certifications is beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote communication and assessment purposes (tech screen will be administered).
